Duration
75 Days

02 //Why this course

Why this course.

S4/SAP HANA is proposed as a 75-day SAP HANA-focused program spanning database fundamentals, SQL, SAP HANA Cloud architecture, data modeling, calculation views, SQLScript, data provisioning, application development, security, performance, monitoring and production-oriented operations.

SAP's current learning content for HANA Cloud data modeling covers Business Application Studio, calculation views, joins/unions, dynamic views, hierarchies, SQL-based custom logic, modeling best practices, performance tools, lifecycle management and security. SAP's current provisioning learning path adds remote sources, virtual tables, replication and data transformation with flowgraphs.

SAP's current HANA Cloud documentation also provides dedicated SQLScript, security and administration references. SQLScript extends SQL with data, functional and procedural capabilities; security documentation covers privilege/role inspection; administration documentation covers monitoring and performance-management facilities.

08 //Learning journey

From foundation to capability.

How learning builds through a course. It describes the approach, not a promised outcome.

Foundation to capability

How learning builds

  1. Stage 01

    Foundation

The core concepts, vocabulary and tools the rest of the course builds on.

  2. Stage 02

    Practice

Guided exercises that turn concepts into working skills.

  3. Stage 03

    Application

Applying those skills to realistic problems and project work.

  4. Stage 04

    Capability

Using what you've learned with growing independence and judgement.
