02 //Why this course
Why this course.
S4/SAP MM is proposed as a 75-day S/4HANA Materials Management and Sourcing & Procurement program focused on the business and system lifecycle of materials: master data, purchasing, sourcing, inventory, goods movements, invoice verification, planning, valuation, integration and implementation practice. The curriculum is designed around end-to-end business processes rather than isolated transaction memorization.
SAP's current learning content places sourcing and procurement around requisitioning, purchasing, sourcing and contract management, with core processes covering stock and consumable procurement, goods receipt, invoice entry, automation and services. SAP documentation also describes the material/product master as a central source used across purchasing, inventory, invoice verification and planning.
Because AIM HIGH supplied only the course title and duration, the roadmap, projects, tools and website experience below are recommended curriculum architecture—not claims about an existing official AIM HIGH syllabus.
