02 //Why this course

Why this course.

S4/SAP SD is proposed as a 75-day S/4HANA Sales and Distribution program centered on the end-to-end order-to-cash lifecycle: presales, sales orders, availability, pricing, delivery, picking, goods issue, billing, payment integration, returns, special sales scenarios and cross-functional integration.

SAP describes S/4HANA Sales as an integrated environment for order-to-cash, customer accounts, sales orders, deliveries, billing and invoicing. SAP's sales-order learning content describes the sales process as presales, order processing, sourcing/procurement alternatives, delivery, billing and payment, with linked electronic documents forming a document flow.

SAP also documents sales-order structures around sales area, header/item/schedule-line data, availability checking, pricing and sourcing; delivery execution includes picking and post goods issue, while billing transfers revenue information into Financial Accounting.
